New York Jets' starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers is feeling the effects of multiple hard hits over the past couple of weeks.
The 40-year-old field general is back on the injury report due to an ankle issue. Prior to the Week 5 trip to London, Rodgers was dealing with a knee injury. On Thursday, the Jets listed Rodgers as a limited practice participant while preparing for the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
"A little banged up, but a lot of rehab the last three days and I feel a lot better," said Rodgers on Thursday in Florham Park.
In the third quarter against the Minnesota Vikings, Rodgers was heavily pressured on a third-down incompletion and went down in a heap of bodies. The quarterback was in visible discomfort after the play. He gingerly walked off to the sideline, but hastily returned for the next offensive snap.
Providing his first injury update since being elevated to interim head coach, Ulbrich didn't sound concerned about Rodgers missing any game action.
"He’s going to be limited today, as he's been on most Wednesdays," said Ulbrich ."Same ankle, little bit of the hamstring. Limited in practice, but no thoughts of any time he'll miss on Monday night."

Through five starts this season, Rodgers has completed 61.0 percent of passes for 1,093 yards and seven touchdowns while being intercepted four times.
The Jets (2-3) host the Bills (3-2) on October 14 at MetLife Stadium. New York must issue a final injury report on Saturday afternoon.
