While quarterback Aaron Rodgers has put on a passing clinic during the opening week of New York Jets Training Camp, starting running back Breece Hall has done his part, too.
Hall, who has totaled 1,585 scrimmage yards in 2023, has flashed his pass-catching ability along with showing plenty of explosion in the run game.
On Friday, the 23-year-old Hall took a handoff a long way to the house. In a highlight shared by the club on social media, the RB1 ran past linebacker CJ Mosley and quickly broke into the clear.
It's safe to say that Hall is 100 percent recovered from the October 2022 ACL tear that derailed his promising rookie season. He spent much of last summer on the PUP list, but managed to get ready in time for the 2023 season opener.
"Just to be out there now at the beginning, it feels good. Last year, you're dealing with like, being sore all the time, stuff like that," said Hall.
On Thursday, Hall made a nice catch along the sideline to draw cheers from the spectators in attendance. The 2022 second-round draft pick led all NFL running backs with 76 receptions last season.
"Now, my knee doesn't bother me at all or anything, so this feels like back to normal," said Hall.
No longer physically hampered, Hall looks ready for a massively-productive Year 3.
