New York Giants tight end Darren Waller has been busy as he considers retirement from the NFL.

While he's been away from the team for the entirety of the offseason as he contemplates his decision, it's been revealed what he's been working on: a new song.

Following his divorce from WNBA star Kelsey Plum after one year of marriage, Waller released a new song and music video titled "Who Knew (Her Perspective)."

According to TMZ, Waller wrote it from "the viewpoint of a woman trying to love him." He also said he plans on releasing an album later in the year.

What this means for his career with the Giants isn't at all clear as they progress through the offseason workout schedule.

However, Waller is clearly dealing with some issues off the field, and the Giants have remained adamant that they will respect his space during the voluntary portion of the offseason.

"I would say the same thing I said last month, let Darren take what he needs to take and once the decision is made, we'll go from there," Daboll said last week to the media. "We have conversations, obviously, but when Darren makes his decision, that's what we'll go with."
