The New England Patriots have started the season off 1-5 through their first six games, and after their most recent loss to the Houston Texans, they are making changes.
According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, New England is signing cornerback Miles Battle to their practice squad after a successful workout on Monday. However, the Patriots' practice squad is currently full, so they'll either have to promote someone to the active roster or release someone before this move becomes official.
Battle, 24, played collegiately at Ole Miss (2018-22) and Utah (2023) before going undrafted in this year's draft. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs not long after the three-day event passed, but he was waived during roster cuts.
At this point, the only other cornerback on New England's practice squad is fellow rookie D.J. James.
