The Minnesota Vikings will only travel an average distance in the 2024 NFL season, ranking 17th-most in miles traveled during the season. Bill Speros of bookies.com compiled how far each team will travel and the Vikings will travel 19,030 miles and cross 26 time zones.

The team who will travel the most is the Los Angeles Chargers at 26,803 miles with the Washington Commanders traveling the least at 10,550 miles. When you look at the teams that travel the most, the top nine reside on either the East Coast or West Coast.

The Vikings do have a trip to London, but they benefit by being in the Midwest where it's relatively quick to travel to each coast. The Vikings do need to travel to the south to face the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans along with trips to both coasts.

The crossing of time zones 26 times is tied for the fifth-most in the NFL, which is what can become a big deal when it comes to travel. Most of that is due to the London trip but playing on both coasts will make an impact.
