Tragedy struck the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday morning as rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson passed away at the age of 24 years old due to an auto accident.
There were many reactions to the shocking developments over the first few hours after the news broke. Many were devastated and torn up over Jackson losing his life at such a young age. They didn't just talk about his ability on the field, but how great of a person he was as well.
A viral TikToker who calls himself Rico Knows took to social media to take a "victory lap" on how right he was about Jackson not being a success in the National Football League. Not only was it incredibly disrespectful, but it drew the attention of teammates Dwight McGlothern and Byron Murphy Jr. who took to Twitter/X to blast him for the video.
You’re a punk who hide behind media. Don’t speak on nobody death that wouldn’t talk to you if you had his # @Ricoknowstiktok https://t.co/TioR3hrkjX

Your a weirdo and don’t know shit! Been a solid dude since the day he walked in the building. Your interviews and your media platform is garbage anyways. Get off social media you a clown dawg! https://t.co/NHTJDAvmCA

It's a normal reaction to want to be right. However, taking any kind of victory lap around someone's death is in horrible taste and a lack of respect. Good on McGlothern and Murphy for speaking up.
