The Miami Dolphins have some serious problems at the wideout spot around leaguewide final cuts and before Week 1.

While the latest Odell Beckham Jr. injury update is sort of a good thing, both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have also been dealing with issues and Tua Tagovailoa’s offense could also be without River Cracraft in Week 1.

Given the above, Bleacher Report has decided that the Dolphins should go out and sign free agent Hunter Renfrow:

“It's become obvious that the Dolphins are likely going to need make at least one move to add to their receiver group. Hill and Waddle should be able to return or continue playing, but the depth behind them will be tested.”

Renfrow is one of the biggest free agents left on the market and a reliable slot man when involved in the offense. He’s still 28 years old and only a few seasons removed from a 1,000-yard campaign.

That said, one of the biggest red flags with Beckham is his lack of reps within the offense. At this stage, Renfrow, nor any other signing would get a lot of time to actually rep with Tagovailoa anyway. While Hill has some sort of thumb injury over the past week or so, Beckham's injury remains largely a mystery, too.

Renfrow would be a smart signing looking past Week 1, yes. But for the Dolphins, the focus is merely on attempting to get Beckham, Hill and Waddle actually on the field together in some capacity before Week 1.

If the Dolphins don't go the predictable route and at least look at waiver wire targets around cutdowns, looping back to Renfrow would make some sense.
