The Miami Dolphins are heading into their Week 4 matchup with the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football in desperate need of a win. Miami has dropped their last two games, including two weeks to their division rivals Buffalo. Miami can’t afford another loss on the young season. Unfortunately for Miami, they’re not going to be anywhere near full strength as they try to right the ship against the Titans.
It’s been well-publicized that the Dolphins are without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa heading into Monday Night Football against Tennessee. Tagovailoa is on injured reserve and will be out until at least Week 8, though there is currently no timetable for his return. Tagovailoa is far from the only injury the Dolphins are dealing with, as their initial injury report from Thursday listed 11 players.
Today’s second injury report paints a very similar picture. Offensive tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Kendall Fuller were once again listed as non-participants as they are still dealing with concussions suffered last week. Linebacker David Long, Jr. was also again listed as a non-participant as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
The only changes to the Dolphins injury report on Friday was cornerback Siran Neal was upgraded from a non-participant on Thursday to a limited participant on Friday as he continues to rehab a hamstring injury of his own. The other change to the injury report is fullback Alec Ingold being listed as a full participant in Friday’s practice after being limited Thursday with shoulder and knee issues. Tyreek Hill was also listed as a limited participant in Friday’s practice, but that was a matter of veteran rest, not injury-related.
On the opponent’s side, the Titans had a couple of key changes to their injury report. Offensive tackle Jaelyn Duncan was added to the report as a limited participant on Friday with a shoulder injury. Both wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed were full participants on Friday after being given veteran rest days on Thursday, and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie was move to injured reserve with a groin injury.
