The Los Angeles Chargers continued to tinker with their roster Tuesday, just days after a preseason opener in which they were able to put just a field goal on the board.

The Chargers recently signed linebacker Shaquil Quarterman and wide receiver Isaiah Wooden while also releasing quarterback Casey Bauman. The team has now brought back a player it recently let go of while releasing two others.

Savion Jackson, an outside linebacker who was signed as an undrafted free agent, is back. The team let him go less than a week ago to make room for quarterback Luis Perez. He has now been brought back into the fold and the team has chosen to cut defensive back Chris Wilcox.

Chargers also release fullback Ben Mason

The Chargers also decided to release fullback Ben Mason, a former Baltimore Raven who was signed this offseason. It seems that what we have seen in training camp, with offensive lineman Jordan McFadden being moved around to different spots, has a chance to be seen in the regular season.

The Chargers are being active in their evaluation of the roster and with two more preseason games to play, there could be several more moves.

The Chargers will face the Los Angeles Rams this Saturday in the Battle of L.A..
