The Los Angeles Chargers could be in the market for a veteran running back. The team signed a free agent (J.K. Dobbins) who has missed a huge portion of the last two seasons. They then used a sixth-round pick to bring in Kimani Vidal, giving the team an enticing, yet shaky, running back room.
If the team looks to add another option, there is a veteran who has sent out feelers to see if any teams show interest. Leonard Fournette seems to have been around forever, but he's still just 29 years old and looking for a new team.

Fournette was with the Buffalo Bills last season but appeared in just two games. But before that, he was a highly productive member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, helping the team win a Super Bowl.
The Chargers could use Fournette as a rotational option with experience to pick up tough yards and spell Edwards in short-yardage and goal-line situations. He is also great as a receiver out of the backfield.
It seems unlikely that the Chargers would make this move but it should not be completely dismissed as something the front office might toss around.
