Here we go: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has reportedly requested a trade from the team.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Adams has asked to be dealt, although the report states nothing is imminent just yet. However, based on recent reports, it may not be long before Adams is out in Las Vegas
It all started with Sports Illustrated's Michael Fabiano, who said on Monday that Adams might have played his last snap with the Raiders. The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Vincent Bonsignore added that the Raiders are "open" to trading the superstar wideout and are actively calling teams to gauge interest.

Things got even more interesting when head coach Antonio Pierce liked the post sharing Fabiano's report before he eventually unliked it. Pierce hasn't spoken on that yet, but Adams did react to it on Tuesday morning and didn't seem pleased.
“I haven’t heard from [Antonio Pierce]. I haven’t talked to him,” Adams said. “I don’t really know exactly what that was about. Obviously social media is a beast, so it’s a lot of people out there that saw it and wondering what’s going on, and people reaching out.”
“Honestly, it’s hard to comment on,” Adams added. “It’s one of those situations where I just keep my head down and keep doing my thing, and let the chips fall where they may. There’s been no communication with anybody from the team since that became thing… There’s always some sort of [trade] drama, but at the end of the day, one-seven doesn’t create any of it.”
Vic Tafur of The Athletic adds that the plan was to trade Adams closer to the October deadline, but things have since accelerated, likely due to the lackluster start Las Vegas is off to.
Adams sat out the Week 4 game against the Cleveland Browns due to a hamstring injury that reportedly has him week-to-week, but Fabiano added in his report that Adams could have played.
Now, we wait for what looks like an inevitable breakup between Adams and the Raiders. There will surely be multiple suitors lined up for his services.
