Former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Micah Abraham may get a shot with a division rival.
Selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Abraham didn't make it through the final cuts for the initial 53-man roster.
It was a bit of a surprise that Abraham didn't make it after starting the preseason on such a strong note, but no team put a claim in for him on waivers so their thoughts were shared around the league.
However, Abraham reportedly has a workout lined up with the Houston Texans on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2.
An undersized cornerback out of Marshall, Abraham was on the fringe of the roster throughout the entirety of training camp and the preseason.
The Colts liked his ability to make plays on the ball, though, considering his 12 interceptions and 55 passes defensed in his college career.
The Colts and Texans are set to battle this week to kick off the 2024 regular season, and they may see a familiar face on the opposite sideline.
