Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has been the subject of trade rumors for what seems like multiple seasons at this point. But as Mike Klis of 9News reported earlier this offseason, the Broncos have no plans to trade him.

While that may be, Sutton has been absent from OTAs while hoping for a new contract. However, it doesn't seem like the two sides are anywhere close to a new deal, and quite frankly, the Broncos are not in a great position to be throwing money around while sitting on all of the dead money from the Russell Wilson situation.

While examining six moves that need to happen in the NFL before the start of training camp, Matt Holder of Bleacher Report suggests the Broncos send Sutton to the City of Brotherly Love. This is a move that could make sense for both teams.

While the Broncos would be giving up their No.1 option in the passing game, which may not be the best way to help introduce a rookie quarterback to the NFL, it is hard to argue with the $13.6 million the team would save against the salary cap this year along with $14 million in savings next year.

That could be huge for a rebuilding team.

For the Philadelphia Eagles, who could likely get Sutton for as little as a third or fourth-round pick, it would give them a big body to team with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith in the passing game, giving the Eagles arguably the best trio in the league.

Sutton scored 10 touchdowns last year and he was one of the only Broncos who had any semblance of a good season last year, but it could be the right move to deal him this time around.
