The Denver Broncos will be entering year two with Sean Payton as the team's head coach. Fans are excited for the direction of the team and for the most part, the majority seems to support having Payton run the show.

Fans around the country don't seem to see Payton in the same light.

According to this article on aGamble.com, a poll was recently conducted amongst NFL fans across the country. The poll was looking for the rudest fanbases as well as the rudest head coaches and quarterbacks. The results were interesting.

Payton was voted as the "rudest" coach in the entire league, with Jim Harbaugh of the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers coming in at No. 2.

It's not hard to see how Payton can come across as unlikeable by fans of other teams. He can be short and irritable when addressing the media and he holds information back in terms of injury news and, at least recently, who the team's starting quarterback would be.

He has had a long-standing reputation for being difficult with the media.

Broncos fans won't change their tune on Sean Payton

Payton also has the 'Bountygate' scandal that precedes him from his days in New Orleans and there are likely NFL fans that still hold that against him and vote for him being "rude" in correlation to their dislike of him.

For fans inside Broncos Country, having to deal with recent head coaches such as Vance Joseph, Vic Fangio and Nathaniel Hackett, they just want to see a winner. If other fans around the league feel their head coach is rude, it likely won't bother them, or they won't care.

Payton won't bat an eye over these results either.
