The Denver Broncos will play in primetime just twice in 2024. The NFL schedule has officially been released and the Broncos won't appear in one of the national television slots much.

That is to be expected for a team that has been down as long as this Denver squad has and in order to get on primetime television more often, they are going to have to start winning.

Every team gets at least one spot in a primetime game now that the league does Thursday Night Football but what the Broncos also have going for them is their high-profile head coach, Sean Payton. Because Payton once coached the New Orleans Saints, the Week 7 matchup on Thursday night is an intriguing one.

Broncos, Sean Payton set for Thursday night collision with Saints

This game will take place in the Superdome, the stadium that Payton called home for 15 NFL seasons and though the Saints look far different from when he was there, it will make for one of the most intriguing games on this year's Thursday night slate.

The Broncos also get a game on Monday Night Football and that game will be at home in Week 13 on December 2 against their long-time rivals from Cleveland, the Browns. Cleveland was a playoff team last season and had the best defense in the NFL. The Broncos played arguably their best game of the 2023 season in a 29-12 victory over the Browns last November.
