In a matter of hours, we will see the entire 2024 NFL schedule and fans of the Denver Broncos can start making plans for game days. Once the schedule drops, which will happen on Wednesday at 6:00 PM MST, we will look at it from every possible angle with all the coverage you can handle.

We know who the Broncos will play in 2024, we need to know when. For everything else to help get you ready for the schedule release, take a look at this primer

Denver Broncos 2024 schedule: Most intriguing opponents

vs. Pittsburgh: This is obvious and as discussed before, the NFL needs to make this matchup in Week 1. It would be a great way to start the season with the Broncos and their new quarterback, Bo Nix, going up against the Steelers and the team's old quarterback, Russell Wilson.

at New Orleans Saints: Another game the Broncos will play this season will be down in the Superdome against Sean Payton's old team. The Broncos could also see another old foe in that one if Derek Carr is still the starting QB for the Saints whenever this game takes place.

at New York Jets: The Broncos and Jets have somewhat of a rivalry now that former head coach Nathaniel Hackett is the Jets' offensive coordinator and Payton took some jabs at him in the media last year.

Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers took exception to those comments and it set up an interesting matchup between two bad teams at the time last year.

The teams played in October and the Jets left Denver with a 31-21 victory. They carried Hackett off on their shoulders like they won the Super Bowl. This time, the game is at MetLife Stadium. The Broncos likely still have a bad taste in their mouths and need to get rid of it.

vs. Kansas City Chiefs: The Broncos actually won the game played in Denver between these two teams last season and somehow did it handily, beating the Chiefs 24-9. They ended a completely ridiculous 16-game losing skid to the Chiefs in the process.

But it didn't matter too much because Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Travis Kelce and company still went on to win a second-straight Super Bowl. As long as the Chiefs have those names, they are going to be the litmus test for the Broncos.
