It wasn't pretty, but it doesn't always have to be. The Denver Broncos have evened their record at 2-2 following a 10-9 win over the New York Jets on Sunday in a game that was dominated by weather.
It rained pretty much from start to finish at MetLife Stadium, bogging down both offenses and creating a situation where the game could be won on one play. For most of the game, the Broncos could not get out of their way. They had 46 total yards at halftime.
But after Bo Nix tossed his first career touchdown pass following an impressive drive that seemed to open things up. The Broncos took a 10-9 lead following a 47-yard field goal by Wil Lutz, but still had to sweat it out to the end.
After Lutz missed a 50-yard field goal with just over one minute to play, the Jets were able to move into position for their own 50-yard field goal, but that was also missed by Greg Zuerlein.
THAT'S TWO.

The win brings the Broncos back to .500 and has to have fans feeling great following a rough start to the season. Looking back at Sunday's game, we are handing out the following game balls.
Denver Broncos Week 4 game balls
Game ball No. 1: Bo Nix
Looking at the statistics for this game, you won't see many players that stand out. But give credit to Nix, who hung in there in a game where his play was clearly impacted by the weather and he was still able to make plays when they were needed.
Nix threw for just 60 yards on the day, but he has his teammates buying into him as a leader and he is learning how to win in this league.
Game ball No. 2: Javonte Williams
Again, Javonte Williams didn't post huge numbers, but he came through when the team needed him on Sunday.
It looked like the Broncos planned to get Tyler Badie worked into the game plan, as many have been calling for, but after he left with a scary injury, Williams seemed to run with more purpose. He gained 77 yards on 16 carries on the day.
Game ball No. 3: Vance Joseph
More on this to come, but Vance Joseph has been terrific as the Broncos' defensive coordinator this season. His defense has given up just 16 points in the last two games and he got after Aaron Rodgers on Sunday.
The Broncos registered five sacks in the game and had Rodgers running around from pressure much more than he would have liked to. When the game was on the line, he came with the right amount of pressure to help seal the deal, not allowing Rodgers to stand back and pick the defense apart.
