Though the Denver Broncos have had to fight through a torrential downpour at MetLife Stadium against the New York Jets on Sunday, rookie quarterback Bo Nix has thrown his first career touchdown pass.
The play came in third quarter of the Week 4 game. It has been ugly offensively as the rain has seriously impacted teams, but Nix took the team on an 11-play, 87-yard drive, capping it off with this 8-yard touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton.

The score put the Broncos ahead 7-6 in a game in which the team had just 46 total yards of offense at halftime.
Nix was going to have to hear about the length of time it had taken him to throw a touchdown pass until it happened, especially after Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels — the other two rookie quarterbacks who started this season — had already done it.
Nix gets his first touchdown pass in his fourth start and Sutton made sure to call him over and present him with the football following the play.
