Now that the UFL season has completed, players who stood out in the spring league are beginning to find chances in the NFL. The Denver Broncos have targeted one of these players, bringing in Birmingham Stallions defensive lineman Dondrea Tillman for a workout.
That will reportedly lead to him signing a contract with the Broncos.
It has been a long, hard road to the NFL for Tillman. He played at Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania in college and has been playing in the spring leagues since. As part of the Stallions, he collected 92 tackles and 8.5 sacks this past season while helping the team win its third consecutive championship.
We love when linemen score TDs!

Being one of the best players on the league's best team will get you looked at and for the Broncos, who have been evaluating the defensive line position all offseason, feel this is the time to give him that shot.
Dondrea Tillman to be added to roster of Denver Broncos
In Denver, Tillman will join a rotation along the defensive line where there is room for opportunity, particularly for a guy who can get after the quarterback. He was credited with 42 QB pressures this past season in the UFL.
The Broncos have Zach Allen, D.J. Jones, and John Franklin-Myers as the presumed starters on the defensive line but beyond them, there are plenty of questions. If Tillman can maintain the momentum he started in the spring league, he could be a surprise this summer and at worst, should make the team's practice squad.
The UFL is providing an opportunity for professional football players to continue to live their dream, and Tillman has a good chance for his to continue.
