When the Denver Broncos face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5 on Sunday, there will be a very old-school theme all over Empower Field.

Fans already knew that the team would be breaking out the throwback uniforms (the best uniforms in team history if you ask me) and celebrating the team that won the 1977 AFC Championship Game and went to the Super Bowl. In addition, Randy Gradishar will be honored for his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and two legendary Broncos — Riley Odoms and Steve Foley — will be added to the team's Ring of Honor.

It was already going to be an incredible Sunday in Denver, but the team decided to go one step further. Take a look at this:

This is quite the sight and adds to a nostalgic feel for a great game between two teams looking to get to 3-2 on the season. This would be perfect if they chose to add the iconic "D" logo in the middle of the field.

While it may not be 1977 anymore, it will sure look like it in Denver on Sunday. Who knows, perhaps this will intensify this rivalry once again. Aside from the Raiders beating the Broncos the last eight times these two teams have played, many feel that this rivalry isn't what it used to be. That could be how the players on the field feel, but the fans in the stands would beg to differ.

There will be a lot of silver and black at Empower Field on Sunday, there always is. But this is a day that should fire up the home crowd as there will be a lot to cheer about and hopefully, that spills over and helps rally the Broncos players to their third win of the year.
