The Denver Broncos waived linebacker Levelle Bailey this week when the team chose to sign another player who was left off of a 53-man roster, Kristian Welch. Bailey, who was part of the team's initial 53-man roster, was then exposed to waivers.

The Broncos had to wait 24 hours to see if one of the other 31 teams would put in a claim on Bailey. Fortunately for them, that didn't happen. Bailey will now join the Broncos' practice squad.

Bailey had a terrific summer for Denver after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State. The Broncos decided Welch and his ability to play special teams would be a great addition to the team, but Bailey is a name to watch for the future.

After pushing for a roster spot all preseason, Bailey capped things off with a 94-yard interception return for a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals.

Denver Broncos' full practice squad

With the addition of Bailey, here is how the 17-player practice squad currently looks for the Broncos.

Calvin Throckmorton, OL
Jordan Miller, DT
Matt Henningsen, DT

Expect to see several of these players in regular season games this year.
