The Bears may be without one of their best defenders for Week 6.

The Chicago Bears could be without one of their starting safeties when taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday.

After self-reporting concussion symptoms, Jaquan Brisker did not make the trip with the rest of the team to London. However, he still has a chance to be cleared later in the week, per ESPN's Courtney Cronin.

Per Cronin, this is the third head injury Brisker has suffered in his professional career — the other two taking place in November 2022 and October 2023.

The likely culprit of the injury was a vicious hit Brisker put on Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble during the Bears' 36-10 win in Week 5.

After the hit, Tremble was immediately ruled out of the game with a concussion.

To play on Sunday, Brisker will need to pass the NFL's five-step concussion protocol by the end of the week.

UPDATE: Brisker has been officially ruled out for Week 6.
