The Buffalo Bills' defense was bullied against the Baltimore Ravens, resulting in a 35-10 loss in Baltimore to take their record to 3-1. Buffalo has been dealing with several injuries, including linebackers Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano, as well as nickel cornerback Taron Johnson. Now, the Bills will be missing one of their top pass rushers for the next month.
Von Miller was suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league's personal conduct policy. And while it's been widely assumed that the suspension is due to Miller turning himself into Dallas police after a warrant was issued for his arrest last November for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, Tim Graham of The Athletic says the team doesn't know why Miller was suspended.
"We don't know for sure why Von Miller was suspended, and Bills source tells me they don't truly know either," Graham said on X. "They better hope it was for 3rd-degree felony arrest last [year] for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend. Otherwise, he did something else that hasn't been revealed."
Regardless, the whole situation is an ugly one. From a football standpoint, the Bills will lean more on A.J. Epenesa to make plays opposite of Greg Rousseau over the next month.
