The Baltimore Ravens are one of the hottest teams in the NFL.
With a 30-23 win over the Washington Commanders, the Ravens have now won four in a row, quickly righting the ship from an 0-2 start.
Over this four-game win streak, the Ravens have been the NFL's best offense, using a powerful run game and dynamic pass game to rack up 134 total points.
While their defense is still a work in progress, they've been able to get the job done late to get timely stops.
However, despite this recent turnaround, the Ravens haven't seen any progress in The Sporting News' NFL Power Rankings, landing fifth for the second week in a row.
TSN's Vinnie Iyer writes:
The Ravens have erased their 0-2 start from existence with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry making their offense hum. They also have adjusted for more efficient passing to minimize the damage from some shaky pass coverage. They remain the Chiefs' biggest AFC threat.
The Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and Houston Texans all rank ahead of the Ravens as undefeated or one-loss teams.
The Ravens are facing good news going forward: they've made it through a difficult early slate and now face what should be an easier schedule over the next three weeks. The Ravens next three games come against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, and Cleveland Browns, three teams with a combined record of 8-10.
It's quite possible that by Week 9, the Ravens are 7-2 and very near the top of the power rankings.
