Baltimore Ravens training camp is off to a rough start for Lamar Jackson.
Jackson missed the first three days of training camp with an illness. It's not clear what exactly Jackson had, other than various reports said he was quite sick.
According to several reporters who were present for Day 4 of Ravens training camp on Wednesday, Jackson returned for about an hour and had a rough go of it. Jackson eventually went back inside the training facility with trainers.
Jonas Shaffer of Baltimore Banner reports that Jackson went 1-of-5 with an interception in 11-on-11 drills.

🟣 Overthrew Bateman on crosser (tight coverage), picked off by Humphrey
⚫️ Missed Hill on screen, pressured throw
🟣 Check-down to Hill dropped
And The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec reported that Jackson looked "weary" as he left the field.
Lamar Jackson practiced for a little over an hour before heading inside with a few members of the team’s athletic training staff. He looked a bit weary which presumably was a result of battling an illness and practicing in high heat and humidity.

It's certainly understandable for Jackson to be off after a three-day absence for an illness, especially when returning in the heat and humidity of July.
Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken told reporters that he doesn't feel "behind" with Jackson, as Jackson has been involved during the offseason.
Ravens OC Todd Monken said he doesn't feel "behind" with Lamar Jackson's illness. He said Lamar was a big part of the offseason. He was in the meetings today and was "great" in the early part of practice before he went back inside after an hour or so.

Jackson will surely recover and get back up to speed with the team. It's just a rough start for the reigning MVP.
