In what has been a strangely consistent narrative, the reigning MVP of the league Lamar Jackson was sent home today from practice with an undisclosed illness. There is no new information on what the illness is or a timetable to return. The Baltimore Ravens will deploy veteran Josh Johnson in his absence.

While this is more than likely temporary, it will be something to monitor over the coming weeks. The Ravens are expected to push for a Super Bowl this year and need their two time MVP quarterback 100% to do so.
