The Philadelphia 76ers moved on from No. 1 pick Markelle Fultz just two seasons after drafting him.

After some commendable campaigns with the Orlando Magic, it seems Fultz is ready to contribute to a championship contender. With the 26-year-old still sitting in unrestricted free agency, Bleacher Report predicted him to sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"Landing with the Oklahoma City Thunder would be a borderline ideal outcome for him," B/R's Dan Favale wrote. "They have the spacing inside their rotation to open up lanes for his dribble drives, pull-ups and overall playmaking."

Fultz is not a strong weapon from the outside, shooting more than 30% from the arc just once in his career. The addition of big man Isaiah Hartenstein, along with their established spacing, would allow the slashing guard to find scoring windows.

"Granted, Fultz's minutes would likely be sparse with Alex Caruso, Aaron Wiggins, Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe in the rotation," Favale wrote. "This also doubles as the best argument against the Thunder burning a 15th roster spot on him."

As Favale noted, the Thunder's backcourt is packed with up-and-coming talent. Having five playable guards makes it tougher for Fultz to find action, but that's not necessarily what he's seeking at this stage.

If OKC offers him a multi-year deal where he can fill in when others are injured and put some hardware in his closet, it seems like a no-brainer.
