The Boston Celtics are signing Dmytro Skapintsev to an Exhibit 10 deal, per HoopsHype. This is the second E10 deal they have given out after signing Lonnie Walker IV to one in late August

In his last season the G-League with the Westchester Knicks, Skapintsev averaged 10 points, seven rebounds, two and a half assists and one and a half blocks per game. He provides that inside presence every seven footer does, and if there are any injuries to big men, he can be called up to fill their spot at the end of the bench while everyone on the main team moves up a string.

Skapintsev probably will not make the team due to Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford, and Xavier Tillman all being on the main team.

However, Porzingis is expected to miss the first month or two of the season recovering from foot surgery, so Skapintsev may have a chance to make the end of the bench.
