New York Yankees star Aaron Judge is having a season to remember, and he reached another career milestone Monday night.
In the first of a three-game series against the Washington Nationals, the 32-year-old superstar ripped a single down the right-field line during the top of the ninth inning.
The single was significant as it marked Judge's 1,000th career hit.

This marks the second major career milestone Judge reached this season. Earlier, he notched his 300th home run quicker than any player in Major League Baseball history. He's also the second player to reach 300 home runs before his 1,000th hit — the other player being Mark McGwire.
There truly is no stopping Judge this season. He leads MLB in fWAR (9.6) and the majority of major categories on offense. He's also on pace to break his own home run record.
It's truly been a historic season for Judge, who is very likely to take home his second MVP award in the last three years.
