Abhishek Sharma hits incredible century against Zimbabwe - Who are the youngest Indians to score a 100 in T20Is?

Following a shocking loss in the first T20I game of the series against Zimbabwe, the World T20 champions were back to their very best in the second T20I clash of the five-match series. Shubhman Gill and the team registered a comfortable 100-run win after posting a total of 234 runs batting first. 

IPL side Sunrisers Hyderabad opener, Abhishek Sharma proved to be the star of the evening as the 24-year-old smashed a blistering 46-ball century against the Chevrons in Harare.

Abhishek’s innings consisted of seven boundaries and eight maximums. After getting out on a duck in his debut game Abhishek has managed a fantastic comeback.

The youngster was hailed for his performances in the IPL season, opening alongside Aussie star Travis Head and smashing bowlers all over the park. He has managed to bring the same style on the international stage as well with a lot expected from the youngster.

Five youngest Indians to score a T20I century 

Topping the list is the charismatic youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal who must be itching to get a chance with the national team once again.

Although he was a part of the T20 World Cup squad, Jaiswal failed to get any chance in the playing XI. Nonetheless, he will join the squad in Zimbabwe for the upcoming T20I clash.

Abhishek became the fourth youngest player to score a T20I century after his blistering knock against Zimbabwe. The 23-year-old has made himself a part of an elite list that consists of players like Suresh Raina and KL Rahul.
