Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) fans had lost hopes of making it to the IPL 2024 playoffs after their team lost seven out of their first eight matches.
Virat Kohli and Co, however, staged a remarkable comeback in the second half of the campaign as they won six straight games including their fascinating win over Chennai Super Kings in their last league game on Saturday.

The Bengaluru-based franchise have never tasted success in the 17 years of its existence as they have never won a silverware. They did reach the IPL final on multiple occasions in the past, however, they faced failure every time.
The fans would now hope that their team goes all the way this time and bring home the coveted IPL trophy.

According to an X user, Dhoni and Kohli reportedly met in the dressing room after the gruelling clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The duo are known to share an excellent camaraderie and Dhoni reportedly wished Kohli luck for the playoffs and urged him to go and win the trophy this year.
Dhoni reportedly said, "You need to do the Final and need to win it as well. Good luck for it."

RCB and Kohli will be next seen in action on Wednesday as they take on Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
