Today’s game of the 2024 edition of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) saw the Gwalior Cheetahs go toe-to-toe against the Rewa Jaguars in an all-time classic. Despite putting up a decent total, the Jaguars were outclassed by the Cheetahs at the Gwalior International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

What happened in the match between Gwalior Cheetahs and Rewa Jaguars?
The match started with Rewa Jaguars opening the proceedings with the bat as Gwalior Cheetahs won the toss and opted to bowl first. A fighting 49 run-knock from Harsh Dixit and some fireworks from Kumar Kartikeya late in the innings helped the Jaguars to reach a score of 157/7 in 20 overs.
In reply, Gwalior Cheetahs saw themselves reduced to just 123 runs for 6 wickets, but a scintillating knock of 31 runs from just 16 deliveries by Sanjog Singh Nijjar helped the Cheetahs reach Jaguars’ target in 19.4 overs. Rahul Batham’s cameo also played a crucial role in the win for the Cheetahs.
