Ace Indian pacer Mohammed Shami has issued a warning towards neighbours Bangladesh ahead of the two-match Test series against India. The Bangla Tigers visit India on the back of a historic series win against Pakistan.
Bangladesh beat Pakistan for the first time in Test history as they won two games on the trot. They even pipped Babar Azam and Co. on the World Test Championship (WTC) points table for the 2023-25 cycle.
However, Shami has warned Bangladesh that the result against Pakistan won't matter as beating India is a 'different ball game'.

Mohammed Shami warns Bangladesh ahead of the India Test series?
Shami emphasised the stark difference between Pakistan and India as Test-playing nations. The Men in Blue last lost a Test series at home in 2012. With a decade-long dominance, it would take a lot of effort for Bangladesh to beat India in their own backyard.
Speaking to reporters at an event of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Shami said, "Bangladesh beating Pakistan is one thing. Beating India requires a different skill set. Bangladesh will have to think about India’s record (at home).
"How well the (Indian) team has been playing, about India’s current performance. A Test match is played over five days and you have to win all the sessions to win the game, the Indian pacer stated."
