What record did Lockie Ferguson set in the T20 World Cup game against PNG?

Lockie Ferguson became only the second bowler in T20I history to bowl four maidens in a single innings. Four overs is the maximum quota of overs that any bowler can bowl in the T20 format.

Ferguson did not concede a single run in his four-over spell against Papua New Guinea. Moreover, he also picked up three wickets, knocking off the top-order of the opposition.

The first bowler to have bowled four maidens in a single innings in T20Is was Canada skipper Saad Bin Zafar. He picked two wickets without conceding a single run, against Panama in November 2021.
