Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) young pacer Harshit Rana took the IPL 2024 by storm. He has had his fair share of laurels since the IPL triumph, and has gained fandom and support from all over the country.
Rana burst onto the scene in IPL 2022, and has only gone in one direction ever since, i.e. upwards. The monumental drift in Rana's IPL career came under Gautam Gambhir's mentorship in IPL 2024.
The 22-year-old speedster became a mainstay in the Playing XI, despite boasting no international experience until then. Even monetary fines could not hinder Rana's momentum from going to the very top.
After the IPL triumph, Harshit Rana appeared on Shubhankar Mishra's podcast. He spoke fondly about Virat Kohli, and his IPL franchise, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

What did Harshit Rana say about star RCB batter Virat Kohli?
Harshit Rana appeared on Shubhankar Mishra's YouTube channel for a podcast. The young pacer spoke about RCB talisman, Virat Kohli. He revealed about his admiration towards the 35-year-old.
Sir, for me also, RCB is all about Virat Bhai. Despite having big names like Dinesh Karthik and Faf Du Plessis, the energy created by Virat Kohli stands unmatched. He leads the team all by himself and wins matches, the 22-year-old expressed.
Victories and defeats are a part of the game, but I am a big fan of him (Virat Kohli). Because I idolise him as a player, thinking, 'This is the way I want to play cricket - wholeheartedly', Rana spoke on the podcast.
