Veteran England pacer, James Anderson, has decided to retire from international cricket. The 41-year-old will call it a day in the Summer of 2024, after a 24-year-old cricketing career.
The decision came after England Test Coach, Brendon McCullum informed Anderson about ECB's decision to look towards the future. The Kiwi coach flew specially from New Zealand to England, to inform the England speedster in person, out of respect.
To pay tribute to the legendary cricketer, the England Cricket Board posted 24 iconic photos that shaped Anderson's cricketing career, as a tribute to his cricket career. One photo per year, and to send off the icon in the most respectful manner.
