Team India landed in New Delhi on July 4th, early Thursday morning, after their T20 World Cup 2024 triumph against South Africa at Barbados, on 29th June, Saturday.

The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma are all set to share their victory with the fans through a parade celebration, starting 5 PM in Mumbai.

Sanju Samson, who was part of the World Cup-winning squad shared a story on his Instagram handle, which revealed a special jersey which the Indian team will wear during the celebrations.

'Champions!" - What special jersey will Team India wear during their T20 World Cup 2024 victory parade celebrations?

The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson revealed the special jersey that was designed for the victory parade to celebrate India's victory at the T20 World Cup 2024, on his Instagram story. 

The jersey has a bold imprint of the word "Champions" highlighting their World Cup triumph, in which the team created history by going unbeaten during the title-run.

In addition to that, there is now a second star above the BCCI logo, which signifies a second T20 World Cup title, on which they won in the inaugural 2007 edition under the captaincy of MS Dhoni and the second, which was achieved in 2024 under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, after a gap of 17 years.

The 15-member squad, along with the Rahul Dravid and the support staff, are scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, where the PM will acknowledge the team's dedication and celebrate the country's victory at the world stage.

After the meeting with the PM, they will board a special flight to Mumbai for the parade celebrations with the fans. The BCCI has arranged for a 1 km victory parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede followed by a small ceremony at Wankhede Stadium.
