Ahead of the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup in June, the Pakistan cricket team had been scheduled for back-to-back away series against the Irish and the defending the T20 champions, England. After a triumphant 2-1 series win against Ireland on Tuesday evening, Pakistan will now be flying to the United Kingdom to take on England.
Pakistan made a good comeback against Ireland after losing the first T20 against Ireland. Babar Azam's team managed to win the latter two games comfortably with both batters and bowlers displaying good performances.
The real test for this team though will be the four-match series against England, who have arguably have got one of the best squads for the upcoming World Cup with Jos Buttler as the skipper of the team.
