France will be looking to banish the memory of losing out in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final as they kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against Austria on June 17.

Les Bleus were amongst the pre-tournament favourites with Didier Deschamps boasting arguably the most complete squad in the competition.

Talisman Kylian Mbappe will captain France in Germany on the back of confirming his move to Real Madrid, and the 25-year-old will be key to their chances of glory.

Deschamps' team are expected to top Group D with Austria, the Netherlands and Poland battling it out for a place in the knockout stages behind them.
