The Premier League season is drawing to a close, with plenty still to be settled over the final matchdays.

Arsenal and Manchester City are still locked in a title battle at the top of the table, while some of the European spots are still up for grabs for sides such as Tottenham, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Chelsea.

At the foot of the table, Sheffield United's relegation has been confirmed along with Burnley's, but the other spot in the bottom three is yet to be officially determined. There is also the matter of prize money to be decided, giving extra incentive to teams to finish as high as they can in the table.

It all means there could be plenty to play for when the final day of the league season rolls around this month — a day on which all 20 teams play simultaneously in what often proves to be an enthralling, nerve-shredding 90 minutes for all concerned.

When is the Premier League final day 2023/24?

The last matchday of the Premier League season is on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

The 38th and final round of games will see all 20 teams play at the same time, the idea being to create as much sporting fairness as possible. For example, if Manchester City played later than Arsenal, they would know what was required to win the title before their game had even started.

As such, all 10 matches will kick off at 4 p.m. BST (11 a.m. ET).
