Who won the Bathurst 1000? Full 2024 race results as Kostecki and Hazelwood wins for Erebus Motorsport at Mount Panorama image

Brodie Kostecki has completed a fairytale comeback winning the Bathurst 1000 alongside Todd Hazelwood for Erebus Motorsport at Mount Panaroma on Sunday.

Despite missing the first six races of the season, Kostecki teamed up with Hazelwood to become just the fifth pairing this century to win the race from pole position, leading from start to finish.

Red Bull Racing's Broc Feeney and Jamie Whincup finished second with the former providing intense pressure on Kostecki in the final laps.

Fellow Red Bull pairing Will Brown and Scott Pye were also on the podium.

Bathurst 1000 top 10 shootout results

Brodie Kostecki has produced a fantastic 2:05.511 lap to win the top 10 shootout and secure pole position for the Bathurst 1000 for the second year in a row.

Despite missing the first six races of the season, he has proved he hasn't lost his touch, producing the best times in the second and third sectors, meaning he was able to hold off impressive challenges from Cam Waters and Broc Feeney.
