Tino Fa'asuamaleaui experienced a devastating season in 2024 as he went down with a ruptured ACL just 35 minutes into Round 3.
The Gold Coast captain was forced to watch on from the sidelines as the Titans went on to lose their first six matches of the campaign under Des Hasler.
The premiership-winning coach was brought in to help the club challenge for a finals spot, but this failed to materialise as they struggled without their inspirational skipper before finishing in 14th spot on the ladder.

When will Tino Fa'asuamaleaui return from ACL injury?
Fa'asuamaleaui’s injury left a major void in Gold Coast’s pack with the Australia and Queensland representative establishing himself as one of the best forwards in the game since his switch from Melbourne.
The 24-year-old moved to the Glitter Strip in 2021 after spending the first two years of his NRL career at the Storm.
But he has won just 22 games in Titans colours since the move as the club have struggled to make the most of their youthful roster.
After spending the majority of the season in the casualty ward, Tino will make the trip across to America to work with world-renowned reconditioning specialist Bill Knowles as he ramps up his rehabilitation.
"I’m going over to have another set of eyes on the knee," Fa'asuamaleaui said before jetting out for the two-week program.
"The next day after I was injured, I was tossing it up as a bit of a joke but then fortunately the club came through with it and got it all sorted for me.
"I’m very grateful for that and now can’t wait to go and learn some stuff."

Knowles has a track record of working with some of the best talent in the NRL with Ryan Papenhuyzen, Latrell Mitchell and Tom Trbojevic having made the voyage across to the states in the past.
"I want another set of eyes and someone who will push me to my limits," Tino said.
If all goes according to plan, the big forward will be back on deck for the start of the 2025 campaign with the Titans looking to vastly improve during Hasler’s second season in charge.
"After Christmas or January is when I will be fully with the team again, obviously if there are no hiccups," the captain stated.
"If I’m training with the team in January, I think I’ll be playing trials and I want to do that to blow the cobwebs outs.
"I need to find my feet again before I head into Round 1."
