Brisbane endured a nightmare campaign which saw them miss out on finals footy just one year after they went within a whisker of beating Penrith in the grand final.
Kevin Walters paid for the dismal performances with his job as Michael Maguire has been handed the reins at Red Hill.
The premiership-winning coach opted to leave his post as New South Wales mentor to take on the task of rebuilding the Broncos into a legitimate title challenger.

Which players have left the Brisbane Broncos in 2024?
After Brisbane lost a wealth of experience and talent last year following their loss in the decider, the club have managed to keep their roster intact ahead of 2025.
Herbie Farnworth, Tom Flegler, Kurt Capewell and Keenan Palasia left massive holes in the squad which were unable to be plugged during Brisbane’s fall back into the pack.
Tristan Sailor is the only player who has been moved on this season with the fringe first grader granted an early release from his deal to take up an offer from St Helens.
Corey Oates has brought a curtain down on his career after the veteran winger wasn’t offered a new contract by the club.
The former Queensland Origin representative joins Jordan Pereira in hanging up the boots this season.
Meanwhile, Delouise Hoeter, Josiah Karapani and Martin Taupau are still without deals ahead of 2025.

Who have the Brisbane Broncos signed for 2025?
Brisbane's focus has been focused solely on retention so far with Reece Walsh, Selwyn Cobbo and Kotoni Staggs due to become available to speak to rivals from November 1.
Walsh is reportedly close to inking a lucrative extension to become the club's top-earner alongside the likes of Payne Haas and Patrick Carrigan, although salary cap pressure may see one of the star centres depart.
