State of Origin Game 1 Judiciary report, charges: Joseph Suaalii receives hefty ban, enters early plea image

An 8th-minute send-off to Joseph Suaalii left the Blues with too much of a mountain to climb on Wednesday night, falling 38-10 to the Maroons in the State of Origin opener.

The NSW debutant quickly learned his fate as one of two Blues players to be cited by the Judiciary.

Suaalii receives heavy suspension for Walsh hit

Suaalii will have a significant spell on the sidelines, charged for his high tackle on Queensland fullback Reece Walsh.

After officially entering an early guilty plea, the centre will receive a four-match ban.

Yeo fined for high tackle

Isaah Yeo is the other Blue to join Suaalii on the charge sheet.

He'll have to pay a fine – 7 per cent of his match fee – for a high shot on Murray Taulagi in the first half.
