Richard Kennar found himself on the wrong side of the NRL Judiciary yet again, but the South Sydney man has avoided a suspension.

Meanwhile, Parramatta forward Wiremu Greig will spend two weeks on the sidelines after a high shot in his side's loss to the Roosters.

Greig hit Connor Watson with a shoulder charge in the 14th minute and was sent to the sin bin and hit with a Grade 3 charge.

Richard Kennar successfully downgrades charge at NRL Judiciary

Kennar's season was expected to be over after he was offered a three-game suspension for a high shot on Luke Laulilii in Round 23.

The incident, which saw Kennar sent to the sin-bin, earned him a grade two careless high tackle charge.

However, that charge was downgraded to a grade one at the judiciary, and has seen him fined $3,000 instead.

Greig out for two games after shoulder charge

Greig's shoulder charge on Roosters utility Watson came in an intense start to the match where two others were put on report.

Greig's shoulder made contact with Watson's jaw, with no attempt from Greig to wrap his arms in the attempted tackle.

Greig was put on report and sent to the sin bin and has accepted a two-game ban with an early guilty plea.

Kenny out for a week after high tackle

Penrith rake Kenny will miss one week after a high tackle on Grant Anderson in his team's narrow loss to the Storm.

He was hit with a Grade 2 charge and has taken the early guilty plea.
