Canterbury will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on St George Illawarra in the opening game of Indigenous Round.

The Bulldogs have won three straight fixtures at Accor Stadium and could make it four on the bounce for the first time in close to a decade, if they beat the Dragons.

Shane Flanagan's side will be fresh off the bye and has virtually a full-strength squad to pick from with Ben Hunt keen to put on a show ahead of the Queensland side being picked for the State of Origin opener

Will Josh Addo-Carr be selected for NSW Blues?

The Dogs have a number of NSW hopefuls in their side with Michael Maguire set to name his first Blues side following the conclusion of Round 12.

Stephen Crichton, Matt Burton and Josh Addo-Carr are hoping to impress the selectors this week to solidify their case for an Origin call-up.

Addo-Carr featured in all three games for NSW last year and will come face-to-face with one of his main rivals for the jersey in Zac Lomax.

"There's no question I want to be there," Addo-Carr stated of his Origin ambitions on the eve of the clash.

"I want to be there. I want to earn my spot in that team.

"I want to play with the best players in the world, represent my state, especially my family and my community. That's what it's all about, I just want to keep earning it and we'll see what happens."

The winger has made Accor Stadium a happy hunting ground in the past, crossing for 22 tries in 24 games at the ground.

After enduring an injury-plagued start to the season, Addo-Carr has had a strong run of form of late as he has scored four tries and made 10 linebreaks in his past five matches for the Dogs.
