South Sydney will finally pull the curtain down on a horrific season on Friday night when they take on the Sydney Roosters.
The Rabbitohs have won just seven games all season and are currently riding a six-match losing streak ahead of their clash against their bitter rivals.
The Chooks are gearing up for a finals campaign but will be doing so with a host of injuries after Sam Walker, Brandon Smith and Victor Radley were sidelined in Round 26.
However, the Bunnies are also in a world of trouble when it comes to their injury list, with Jack Wighton added to the casualty ward ahead of the game.

Rabbitohs name replacement as Jack Wighton joins horror injury list
Wighton made the switch to Redfern after over a decade of service in the nation’s capital but has endured a disappointing first campaign at his new club.
Initially starting the season in the centres under axed coach Jason Demetriou, Wighton was eventually moved to his more customary position of five-eighth in Round 12.
Since them, he has formed a solid partnership alongside Cody Walker despite the side struggling to pick up wins under interim coach Ben Hornby in the latter stages of the season.
Although Wighton won’t get to taste his second derby clash for Souths against the Roosters after succumbing to a calf issue.
The 31-year-old picked up the complaint last week during his side’s 34-12 loss to Penrith and was taken off in the 67th minute.
Wighton joins an extensive set of stars in the casualty ward for Souths with Campbell Graham, Tevita Tatola, Alex Johnston, Jai Arrow and Latrell Mitchell already out.
Meanwhile, Dean Hawkins has been drafted into the halves in Wighton’s absence and will play in just his eighth game in the NRL for the year.
The reigning NSW Cup Player of the Year was initially given a run in the side after Demetriou dropped Lachlan Ilias as his halfback.
Although Hawkins featured just six times earlier in the campaign before he suffered a serious quad injury that sidelined him for a lengthy period.
The playmaker has struggled to influence the game during his previous outings in first grade with just one try and two assists to date this year.
