The Tour de France Femmes has arrived for 2024.

Typically, the race immediately follows the men's tour, but the Paris Olympics has seen a larger scheduling gap than usual.

Plenty of Aussie talent is set to feature across a full week of action, including recent Olympic individual time trial gold medallist Grace Brown.

Tour de France Femmes coverage Australia: TV channel, free-to-air guide

All eight stages of the Tour de France Femmes 2024 will be shown live and free on SBS.

The broadcaster has exclusive television and streaming rights to the event.

Start times for each stage can be found here.

For those unable to watch a stage live, SBS will air a 'Daily Update' in the morning before their 'Highlights Review' show later in the evening.

Commentary is set to be led by a team featuring Matt Keenan, Bridie O’Donnell and Simon Gerrans.

Tour de France Femmes live stream: How to watch cycling for free in Australia

Every stage of this year's Tour de France Femmes will be live-streamed via SBS on Demand.

The action can also be followed on the broadcaster's dedicated app – the SBS Skoda Tour Tracker app.

On top of this, fans will be able to visit the SBS Sport Tour de France website hub, which will host full on-demand replays, mini stage recaps, highlights and other content.

When is the Tour de France Femmes 2024? Start date, finish

The third edition of the Tour de France Femmes will run from Monday, August 12 to Sunday, August 18.

Precedings will begin in Rotterdam, Netherlands before heading down the east of France.

Two stages will take place on the Tuesday – a flat stage and an individual time trial.

Nine Australians will line up in this year's Tour de France Femmes.

Notably, reigning Olympic individual time trial winner Grace Brown will be in action for FDJ - SUEZ.
