A total of five cycling disciplines featured in the 2024 Paris Olympics - Mountain Bike, Road, BMX Freestyle, BMX Racing and Track.

Australia had competitors featuring across the board, with plenty of medal-winning performances.

Grace Brown got the ball rolling in a big way with a gold medal in the women's individual time trial, followed by BMX freestyle rider Natalya Diehm's podium finish.

On Day 7, Saya Sakabikara claimed an inspirational gold in the women's BMX racing event, while the track cycling got off to a perfect start with gold in the men's team pursuit.

More medals came the Aussies' way on the final day of action, with Matthew Richardson and Matthew Glaetzer making the podium in the men's keirin.
