Tyreek Hill contract details: Restructured deal gives Dolphins star historic guaranteed money for wide receiver image

Tyreek Hill is having himself quite a week.

The Dolphins superstar is getting all his flowers with the 2024 season quickly approaching. He was named the first of five players to earn a perfect 99 overall rating in Madden 25 on Monday, then received an even higher honor a few days later.

When the NFL wrapped up its annual Top 100 list on Friday, Hill was voted as the No. 1 player in the league by his peers.

Surprisingly, being crowned the best player in the NFL today was not Hill's greatest achievement of the week.

The 30-year-old agreed to a restructured contract Saturday, giving him the most guaranteed money added to a contract without adding years for a wide receiver in NFL history.

Hill was already one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL after he signed a four-year, $120 million deal immediately after landing with the Dolphins via trade in 2022.

His $30 million-per-year average was the highest for a receiver in NFL history at the time, and Miami is doubling down on its electrifying playmaker.

Hill and the Dolphins have agreed to a restructured contract that will give the All-Pro $90 million over three years, including $65 million in guaranteed money, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The adjusted deal gives him a total of $106.5 million guaranteed— the most guaranteed money for a wide receiver in NFL history without adding years to a deal.

There is no denying that Hill is worth the money he received. He has tallied over 100 receptions and 1,700 receiving yards in each of his first two seasons with Miami.

His 1,799 receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns led the entire NFL last season. Hill has also been durable, playing in 33 of 34 available regular season games over the last two years.

He had a simple message for Dolphins fans on X shortly after the restructured contract was announced.

Take a look at how his new contract stacks up in guaranteed money with other top players at his position below.
